1. Website operator
This website is operated by DoneBene Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17415782. Registered office and postal contact: DoneBene Ltd, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. This is a correspondence address, not a walk-in cleaning location. Call 020 3488 7814 with questions or concerns.
2. Information and enquiries
We are currently taking preliminary enquiries while we complete preparations for the service. We are not confirming visits or taking payments yet. You can contact us to discuss your postcode, preferred dates and cleaning priorities; your enquiry does not reserve a slot or commit you to a booking. When bookings are released, a contract will form when DoneBene receives your clear, unconditional acceptance of the final written Booking Offer and its supplied Terms through the stated channel before expiry. Initially, that channel will be a reply to the offer email. Payment arrangements and the due date will be stated before acceptance; payment will be a separate obligation. Confirmation will record the contract already formed. A changed or expired offer needs a new offer. These arrangements do not override any statement or obligation that applicable consumer law makes binding.
Prices, minimums and service descriptions describe the planned service scope and remain subject to the qualifications shown. You may enquire about that scope, but no advertised rate or enquiry reserves a visit while bookings are closed. Short-let services, newsletter signup and online payment remain inactive. DoneBene may correct obvious errors before a contract forms, while preserving any pre-contract statement that applicable consumer law makes binding because the customer relied on it.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the website for lawful personal or business enquiries. You must not attempt to disrupt or bypass security, introduce malicious code, scrape at a level that harms operation, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or abusive material, or use contact channels for spam. DoneBene may block misuse and preserve proportionate security evidence.
4. Content, intellectual property and external services
The DoneBene name, supplied branding and site copy are used for this business. Photographs and interface assets are used under their applicable rights and licences. Service pictograms use Tabler Icons and interface controls use Phosphor Icons, both under the MIT licence; those licences continue to apply to those assets. You may view and print pages for your own reference. Other reuse of protected material requires the relevant rights or permission; nothing here restricts reuse allowed by law or an applicable open licence.
Representative images illustrate the service and do not identify your booked cleaner or guarantee an exact appearance, team size or method. Links to external services, including WhatsApp and payment providers, are supplied for convenience. Their services operate under their own terms and privacy information. A link does not mean DoneBene controls or endorses all external content.
5. Availability and security
DoneBene takes reasonable steps to keep the site accurate and available but does not promise uninterrupted, error-free or malware-free access. The site may be suspended for maintenance, security or events outside reasonable control. Do not send card details, passwords, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information through the enquiry form, email or WhatsApp.
6. Website liability
Nothing in these Website Terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Nothing limits a customer’s rights under an accepted cleaning contract; the Customer Terms apply to that service.
We are responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by our own breach or lack of reasonable care. A loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious possible consequence or could reasonably be expected from circumstances made known to us. We exclude losses neither party could reasonably foresee and, where you use this site wholly or mainly for private purposes, losses of business profit, business revenue, business opportunity or business interruption. A personal loss is not excluded merely because you work from home. Misuse reduces our responsibility only to the extent it causes the loss. We remain responsible for our own selection, configuration and security of services we use and for information that consumer law makes binding. No external-provider disclaimer or label such as indirect or consequential removes that responsibility.
The proposed aggregate ceiling for monetary liability to one website user is £2,000,000 for claims arising from website access or use during any 12-month period, only where a ceiling is fair and lawful. It does not limit a cleaning booking, override the non-excludable matters above, restrict statutory data-protection remedies or override a court’s powers over costs and interest. This is a draft proposal requiring written UK consumer-solicitor and insurer review of its fairness, scope, incorporation and insurance alignment before release. It is not a representation that this insurance is in force or that merely visiting the website means you have agreed to a cap.
7. Changes, law and contact
DoneBene may update these Website Terms prospectively by publishing a new dated version. Changes do not rewrite an accepted booking. The law of England and Wales applies, without removing mandatory protections or court rights available to a consumer elsewhere in the United Kingdom. If an unfair term is not binding, the rest continues only so far as it can lawfully do so. Questions can be raised by calling 020 3488 7814 or writing to the registered office.
